So we thought that we should try to create our own community as well on the official website for The Genuine Fakes. You can meet other friends of The Genuine Fakes – from all social networks – and discuss music, mustaches or whatever. You can listen and compare music and will be the first to receive important news, you’ll get special offers on merchandise etc.
The best thing is that the setup is really easy!

Dressed for success
5 FebThe fakes costume not only looks great – it feels great! The key to success is to have the correct shoes, pants, shirt, tie but to really nail the outfit more than clothes is required.
Shoes (a.k.a Fakers).
The shoes that are also known as “Fakers” are the standard Converse All Stars as shown in the picture below.
Pants
The pants can be tough to find – a pair of colored jeans in your favorite fake-color (tough to find is a total understatement, which store has yellow pants?!?). Joey wears red, Mårty wears white, Johnny wears blue and I wear yellow.
Tie
The tie should be thin and striped in two colors – black and the color of your pants.
Shirt
The shirt is a standard short-sleeved fine shirt, pitch black!
Stache
Then, to nail the outfit a mustache is required or as our friend Johnny Fake once said:
Never be caught in public with a bare upper lip.

Sound card failure
3 FebToday The Genuine Fakes were supposed to record some guitar/organ in the studio but the f**kin sound card did not work properly so instead I used the time to browse my photo gallery. I found this excellent pic of my daughter Molly Fake.
