In Japan the album was released by Thistime Records on Febrary 2nd, 2011. The Japanese edition included four bonus tracks – Earnest Endeavor, Time Is Slight, Somehow Everything (Posies cover) and The Genuine Fakes (8 bit version) and can be be ordered from the Thistime Records online Shop!

The Spanish label Rock Indiana Records released the album in Spain. Furthermore, the album was released in the US through Kool Kat Music. All who buy the US-edition of the album will get a purchaser bonus in the form of a bonus CD containing five previously unreleased tracks! The US edition can be ordered here.

In 2009 the band released a X-mas cover of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas using the characteristic sound created by the Fakes’. In addition to this the band has featured on various compilations such as Beautiful Escape: The Songs of The Posies Revisited.

The Genuine Fakes contributes on the compilation Together We Are Not Alone that is released to support Japan after the earthquake and tsunami. All profit from the compilation goes to the Red Cross. The album is released by Thistime Records and featured artists are The Posies, Bleu, The Wellingtons etc. Johan Bergqvist (a.k.a. Joey Fake) also contributes a brand new solo track. The Posies contributes with the album’s theme song.
